I go to the living room, take a quick look at the inside - outside thermometer- which I always do before going out, to see what to wear-, rush back to my room, hearing her,
- Now, are you gonna bake them outside?
- wha?! hah?!
- The muffins, are you gonna bake them outside?
- oh, no, I wanna go out.
- what do you need?
- well, cocoa powder and butter,
- there is a big jar of cocoa powder in the cupboard, and butter we have too.
- em, uh,
- use them.
- em, ok,, em, thanks.
- you're welcome
She goes back to reading.

knew of him
- so, back then, did you know him?
- you mean if I knew of him. watching TV
- yes, did you know him?
- if I knew of him.
- ?!
- I did not know him. I knew of him.
I burst into laughter
-?
- you know, the other day, my mum was asking me if you understood Persian. I said yes and she asked me if I talked to you in Persian and I said no, why, she asked and I replied cause Chris speaks English so well and makes fun of my grammar mistakes, still laughing
- yes and I am not giving you the chance to laugh at my grammar mistakes in Persian. back to watching TV
- well, it would be ok, cause Persian is not your second language.
- No, it is not, well, it is actually my fourth language.
